CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
KIMBERLY CRIDLAND
Hello, and welcome. I’m a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities to navigate life’s challenges and find meaningful ways forward.
I began my career in trauma counselling, working with clients across the lifespan who had experienced sexual assault and other forms of trauma. This early work shaped my deep commitment to creating safe, respectful, and compassionate spaces for healing. I later moved into educational settings, where I worked closely with children, young people, and their families to address emotional, behavioural, and learning needs.
I draw on evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). I tailor my approach to each person’s unique needs, aiming to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Clients often describe me as friendly, warm, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine, collaborative conversation, where you can bring your whole self without fear of judgment. Where possible, I also enjoy bringing a sense of creativity and fun to the therapeutic relationship. My aim is to walk alongside you, helping you make sense of your experiences, develop practical tools, and move toward a life that feels richer and more meaningful.
If you’re looking for a relaxed yet professional space to explore what’s been on your mind, I’d be honoured to work with you.
